Construction Resources is bringing its multi-category design concept to Dallas with a new location scheduled to open in 2027. The company announced plans for the CR Design Center at 150 Turtle Creek Boulevard within The International. This marks a significant step in the firm’s expansion beyond the Southeast.
The upcoming Dallas location follows the recent launch of the Flagship CR Design Center | Westside Paper in Atlanta, which opened in spring 2025. It also precedes the CR Design Center | Charleston, set to open in fall 2026 in Mount Pleasant, S.C. The new facility represents the company’s continued growth into major metropolitan markets.
A Hub in the Design District
The International is a 160,000-square-foot neighborhood center owned by retail real estate investment firm Asana Partners. It sits in the heart of the city’s Design District. This area is an upscale, eclectic enclave known for its high-end showrooms, art galleries, and boutique retail. The neighborhood also features destination restaurants and luxury apartments.
The site is strategically positioned just 2 miles from Uptown Dallas. It offers easy access to Highland Park and University Park. These factors make it well-suited to support the region’s thriving real estate market and its community of young professionals. The location also draws strength from the 400,000 annual visitors to the nearby Dallas Market Center.

“Bringing Construction Resources to The International is a huge win for the Dallas Design District and deepens the property’s standing as a premier location for luxury products and high-end design services,” said Terry Brown, managing partner with Asana Partners.
A Unified Design Destination
The CR Design Center | Dallas will span 48,000 square feet. It will serve as an expansive design destination and an inspiration hub for the region. The center will bring together 10 product categories under one roof. This includes appliances, cabinets, countertops, and decorative plumbing.
Shoppers will also find fireplaces, lighting, and garage doors. The inventory extends to outdoor living, shower doors, mirrors, tile, and flooring. Construction Resources will collaborate once again with the Atlanta-based design firms ASD | SKY and The Collab on the overall design of the space.
For local designers and builders, having these varied categories in a single location could reduce the logistical friction of sourcing materials. Instead of coordinating across multiple vendors, professionals can access a centralized inventory of premium goods. This often saves time during the critical planning phases of a renovation or new build.
The facility will also offer custom design and fabrication services. This adds a layer of utility beyond simple retail. The company aims to support the full lifecycle of a project, from initial inspiration to final installation.

Deepening Texas Ties
The launch of the Dallas center builds on Construction Resources’ strategic entry into the Texas market. Earlier this year, the company acquired The Jarrell Company. That firm is a Dallas-based distributor of luxury appliances, plumbing, and lighting.
This acquisition laid the groundwork for the new center. It solidifies the company’s commitment to providing an unparalleled selection of premium brands to the Texas builder and designer community. The new location will serve as a cornerstone for these operations.
“Dallas is one of the nation’s most dynamic and rapidly evolving markets for residential building and construction,” said Mitch Hires, CEO of Construction Resources. “With our new CR Design Center, we are creating a world-class, multi-category destination at The International, tailored to the sophisticated needs of local designers, builders, remodelers and homeowners.”
The company looks forward to becoming a staple of the local design scene. It plans to offer vast resources to the community. The Dallas center is expected to welcome its first customers in 2027.
